
LEGAZPI CITY — Four suspected drug traffickers were arrested while P465,800 worth of shabu (crystal methamphetamine) and firearms were seized in separate operations in the Bicol region on Wednesday, June 22.
Rumualdo Bracino, 44, and Nenette Barbara, 49, were arrested in an operation to buy busts in Barangay (town) Tugos in the town of Paracale, province of Camarines Norte
Authorities recovered three shabu bags weighing 65 grams worth P442,000.
Calubaquib said Barbara was placed on the region’s illegal drug watch list.
In the town of Minalabac in the province of Camarines Sur, Sanny Rick Favio, 34, was also arrested in a search operation in Barangay San José around 5:30 a.m.
During the operation, eight small bags of shabu weighing 3.5 grams worth P23,800 and a loaded .38 caliber pistol were seized.
In an entrapment operation, Wilfredo Montecalvo, 56, was arrested in Barangay Beriran in the city of Gubat in Sorsogon province at around 8 a.m.
The police confiscated a caliber. 38 of said suspect.
