LAKE GEORGE, NY (WWTI) — The Adirondack Wine and Food Festival is returning to Lake George for the first time since 2019.

The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 26 and will feature more than 120 wineries, breweries, cider houses, artisan food producers, food trucks and plus . The festival will be held at the Lake George Festival Commons in Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George Village. The founder of the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival in 2014, Sasha Pardy, said that she is excited for the event to return.

“It has been two long years since our last festival and I am so grateful that we are just days away from bringing one of the region’s most anticipated events to Lake George,” said Pardy. “Thousands of people will be traveling to Lake George this weekend and we know it will be a great experience for us, our attendees and the local businesses they support during their visit.”

According to the press release from the festival organizers, more than 7,250 festival-goers are expected this year. The last festival of 2019 saw more than 6,700 people in attendance, with 73% of attendees saying they were planning a trip to the Lake George area specifically to attend the festival.

The 2022 Festival is expected to generate 4,745 overnight stays in the area and produce an economic impact of $3.6 million in the region. Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce and CVB Gina Mintzer commented on the impact the festival has on the Lake George community.

“As the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival returns from its pandemic hiatus, the event is attracting more new and different visitors,” said Mintzer. “Event producers have been very strategic in their growth plans that enhance Lake George’s brand of unique vacation experiences. Thanks to their efforts, the festival continues as a substantial economic engine for the region, adding tremendous impact to the area.”

One-day general admission tasting tickets to attend are $45 on Saturday and $40 on Sunday. Tickets include tasting at all booths, a souvenir glass of wine, a reusable eco bag, use of delivery, a pickup tent, and a program guide. Two-day weekend warrior tasting tickets are $75 and include the same perks for both days.

One-day designated driver or underage tickets will be $15 and will include samples from artisan food vendors, a reusable eco-bag, program, souvenir water bottle and glass of wine. More information about the festival and a full list of vendors can be found here.
