Nearly two decades after stepping down as mayor of Winnipeg, Glen Murray wants another shot at the job.
Murray, who was mayor of Winnipeg from 1998 to 2004, announced Wednesday that he will run to replace Brian Bowman in the upcoming municipal election.
Today I announced that I am running for Mayor of Winnipeg on October 26th. Winnipeg can flourish and prosper again. I want us to be the greenest, most electric city in Canada. Let’s do it! #wpgpoli #mbpoli #wpg2022 pic.twitter.com/TrZBqhBWgT
