Happy Corbin appears regularly on Friday Night SmackDown. Corbin plays an obnoxious badass who takes the joy out of others. Also, he loves to flaunt his riches on WWE TV.
Corbin recently appeared on The Out of Character Madcap Moss with his podcast talk feud. He has also been bothered by many matches on WWE TV and does not want to fight Moss in real life.
“I think it doesn’t bother me as long as I have credibility. If I think you’re just a guy who goes out and loses and nobody cares, then that’s something you have to fix. But I have credibility. Like, there’s 90% of the audience watching that. I wouldn’t want to fight him in real life. He would destroy me. Then there’s always the 10% idiots who think they might have a chance.
“But my job is to go out there and be a big bully. I mean, how many movies does the bad guy actually win? Very rare. I think that’s the world we live in. People want to see guys push themselves and achieve great things. So I never care when someone else or doing something benefits our program. My number one priority is our show, Smackdown.
“In general, how is this whole show going? How do I fit into the program? How do I improve this show? How do I get more people to watch this show and watch what I do, and if it’s about irritating people so they can watch Madcap Moss hit me with a chair, stomp on my head, and almost kill me with the steel stairs? That gives them joy, I agree. But I have the credibility behind this and I do. I mean, I have wins at WrestleMania, I have these incredible achievements that give me credibility. ”
Corbin lost the No Disqualification match against Moss at Hell in a Cell earlier this month. Moss ended the match by crushing Corbin’s neck with a steel chair. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for Corbin.
