How to uninstall Valorant

To completely uninstall Valorant from your smartphone, follow these two steps. Riot Vanguard, Valorant’s anti-cheat software, must be uninstalled first, followed by Valorant.

It is best to note that before deleting the apps, you must close all instances of the Valorant and Riot Vanguard software. Make sure Valorant is properly closed. Expand the system tray from the taskbar, then use the context menu to choose Quit Vanguard when you want to quit Riot Vanguard.

Uninstall Valorant via Control Panel

As already stated, to ensure that the game is completely removed from your computer, you must also remove Riot Vanguard and Valorant.

  1. To start the search, press the Windows key + S on your keyboard.
  2. Enter after typing Control Panel.
  3. Click Programs.
  4. Go to Programs and Features now.
  5. Locate and choose Riot Vanguard from the list.
  6. Click the Uninstall button located at the top.
  7. Wait until the procedure is finished.
  8. Select Valorant by searching for it in the same list.

You can also uninstall the game using the app settings.

  1. Launch configuration.
  2. In the menu on the left, select the Applications option.
  3. Click Apps & Features.
  4. To locate Riot Vanguard, check the list.
  5. Select Uninstall by selecting the more options option (the three vertical dots).
  6. Using apps and features remove Riot Vanguard
  7. By clicking the Uninstall option, confirm the uninstall procedure.
  8. Wait until the procedure is finished.
  9. Repeat the process with Valorant by selecting it from the list.
  10. When the removal procedure is finished, restart your computer.

Using Command Prompt, remove Valorant

You can also uninstall Valorant via Command Prompt if the procedure described above is unsuccessful for some reason. But to achieve that, you will need administrator privileges.

  1. Quit any Valorant-related apps, including Riot Vanguard.
  2. To enter the Run dialog, press the Windows key and R on your keyboard.
  3. To start Command Prompt as administrator, type cmd in the box and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
  4. Hit Enter after typing sc erase vgc.
  5. Login once again after typing sc delete vgk.
  6. Once the codes have finished running, restart your computer.
  7. the Program Files directory on your C drive (C:\Program Files).
  8. Locate Riot Vanguard and completely delete the folder.

Deactivation Vanguard

Vanguard recently received a small buff. We introduced the ability to disable Vanguard via a system tray icon in response to a ton of helpful player feedback.
