An interview with Margot Robbie about her experience with drunken Logies has resurfaced on the eve of the 2022 TV Week Logie Awards.

“Eventually, I found someone who was cleaning and was like, ‘What are you doing here?’ I was like, ‘What time is it? I have to be at work.'”

It comes after Margot sent champagne to the cast and crew of Neighbors when production wrapped for the last time in 37 years last week.

The show’s executive producer, Jason Herbison, announced that Robbie had sent a gift of expensive bubbles.

The cast raised a toast after the end of filming on the show’s last day of production.

Alan Fletcher, April Rose Pengilly and Emerald Chan were among the cast to thank Robbie on Instagram for the thoughtful gift.

Robbie rose to fame on Australian soap opera when she appeared as aspiring fashion designer Donna Freedman from 2008 to 2011, before leaving Melbourne for Hollywood.

He previously credited the show as saying it was “brilliant training” for his Hollywood career and admitted he was never able to pick up lines at the speed he used to during his soap opera days.

But he can’t believe how fast he used to read his scripts during his time on the serial drama.

She said: “I always said that after giving up a soap everything would be easy after that.”

‘It was a brilliant training camp. I used to sit with 60 pages on my lap in the morning and just fly by, read it once. I understand. I don’t think I can do that now.

The Birds of Prey star is also grateful to work on a soap opera because that time has made her more “aware” of other departments when she’s in a movie or on a TV set.

She said, “I think the biggest thing about working on a soap opera and working with a multi-camera set was being so aware of all the other departments and working within the bigger machine.”
