PSSI General Secretary Yunus Nusi said that in the near future, Shayne Pattynama will become a naturalized candidate for the Indonesian national team.
According to him, Shayne Pattynama will soon come to Indonesia to undergo the naturalization process.
His arrival was none other than visiting the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia, closing the interview with the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) for Health Tests.
Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama (born August 11, 1998) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Norwegian club Vikings FK. Although mostly left back, he can also play as a central midfielder. He is of Indonesian descent through his father.
Shayne Pattynama is an Indonesian-Dutch player. She has Indonesian blood because her father is from Semarang, Central Java. However, Pattynama’s own name is the Maluku clan.
Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama was born in Lelystad, the Netherlands, on August 11, 1998. He plays as a left back. Shayne Pattynama started his academic career at SV Lelystad ’67 (2004-2007), Ajax Amsterdam (2007-2010) and FC Utrecht (2010-2017).
He made his Eerste Divisie debut for Jong Utrecht on August 21, 2017 in a match against FC Oss. He scored his first and only goal for Jong Utrecht on February 11, 2019, in a 2–4 home loss to Go Ahead Eagles.
After two seasons, he moved to league rivals Telstar, in 2019. Pattynama made his debut on October 18, 2019 in a match against Almere City. On 18 January 2020 he scored his first goal for Telstar in a 3-3 draw with Excelsior Rotterdam at the Van Donge & De Roo Stadion in Rotterdam.
Pattynama signed for Norwegian club Eliteserien Viking on March 16, 2021. He is scheduled to join the team on April 1.
