RAWANG: It is expected that a special allocation will be channeled to the youngsters to ensure that the group remains competitive in terms of economy and income.
Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said that the group would be a special focus in the presentation of Budget 2023 and that they needed financial assistance and capital to start a business.
“I think these young people are very important for the country. In the budget that we are drafting now, I am still in discussions with the relevant ministries and agencies.
“We want to provide special allowances to young people in terms of capital and loans so they can do business and strive to improve their economy,” he said at the Big Boss Entrepreneur Program opening ceremony at Big Boss Mart here today. .
Also present were Sungai Besar UMNO Division Chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos and Geng 18 Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) President Muhammad Amin Daniel Jamal.
In the meantime, Tengku Zafrul said, more programs and courses like Big Boss should be provided for the youth.
He said this is because it is not easy for someone to run a business without knowledge.
